ARP – The World Leader in Fastener Technology has just released a new ARP2000® connecting
rod bolt kit for Volvo 2.5L (B5254) 5-cylinder applications.
Part No. 219-6201 – includes a set of ten ARP2000® cap screw style rod bolts that are
nominally rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength and a 1/2 oz. pack of ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly
lubricant.
ARP2000® material has considerably better fatigue life and the bolts are reusable as
compared to the OEM Torque to Yield (TTY) rod bolts which must be replaced after each use.
Optimum design, enhanced reliability and increased strength are the main attributes of ARP’s
Pro Series connecting rod bolts.
At the popular Dutch Rally Cross track in Valkenswaard, the Wiseco supported Toyota Yaris of Peter van de Wege has won the first race of the season.
Peter van de Wege won all 3 manches and was secured for a good position in the final, which he won as well!

Our American made Pro Tru® Street pistons are made with the same quality expected in all Wiseco Performance Products. This new line of pistons offers extreme value with “as-forged” technology, skirt coatings, as well as strength and reliability through our in-house forge program.
The pistons are made from 4032 forged aluminum and have forged domes with crown features & oil drain backs. Of course the pistons do have our world famous and proven skirt coating: ArmorGlide®. Which will increase the lifespan of the piston and will increase performance by decreasing friction. The coating is the result of testing, development, and benchmarking through Wiseco’s rigorous in-house dyno program.
All pistons come with Chromium alloy steel piston pins & Spirolox®.
